Löyly, Helsinki, Finland. 'Löyly' is one of the more recent examples of abstract architecture in the coastal city of Helsinki, Finland. The building's jagged wooden form resembles an architectural pavilion, but actually functions as a year-round sauna, restaurant and lounge. Building materials include Scandanavian birch, locally sourced concrete, blackened steel, and glass.
